Answer RP means a person or an entity appointed as repository participant by CCRL under Warehousing (Development & Regulation) Act, 2007, subsequent Rules and Guidelines of WDRA, Bye-laws of CCRL. RPs before entering into any agreement with or opening any account of any Client/Depositor during the subsistence of such agreement:

make all such inquiries as may be expedient and exercise due care and caution in ascertaining the bonafides and track record of the intending Client/ Depositor inter alia, by carrying out appropriate due diligence;

scrutinize the authenticity of all documents produced by the Users/Depositors for opening the account or for deposit of commodities;

where the account is opened by a non-individual entity account holders named therein desires to authorize one or more of them to issue instructions to the Repository Participant from time to time, the Repository Participant shall ensure that due authorization is obtained by the holders.

Answer A Depositor/ Client can approach RP with Aadhaar details and other documents as specified by CCRL from time to time. Client should be given Rights and Obligations document by the RP. Client should submit an application to open account with one valid email id and mobile number details mentioned in it. RP will check and validate the account opening as per Bye-laws of CCRL.

Answer Withdrawal request can be initiated by a RP or Warehouse on receipt of withdrawal request from the client or by the client themselves applying through CCRL portal, Thereafter the client should approach the warehouse for physical withdrawal.

Answer A Depositor/ Client can get unencumbered (free balance) goods held by him/ her/ them pledged with a Financial Institution to avail loan from that entity. Such entity should have an account in CCRL system. Client can initiate Pledge request through portal or by applying at RP. Once the details are found correct, RP will approve the request. Further, the warehouse holding such eNWR has to approve the Pledge creation before the information reaches the account of Pledgee. Final confirmation about Pledge creation is given by Pledgee in the CCRL system before disbursement of loan.

Answer On physical deposit of goods at the warehouse, eNNWR will be generated immediately and intimated to the depositor/ client on registered email id and mobile number, both.

Answer Go to User Profile, and then click Change Password. All users are advised to change their passwords after first log in.

Answer Yes, new password can be generated go to forgot password tab from the login Screen and enter the user Id for which new password is to be generate, new password will be sent to the registered email ID.
